Daniel Craig: ‘I’m better at guitar than  Noel Gallagher’ ANANOVA

Daniel Craig has joked 

that he wouldn’t be able 

to play Oasis’s Noel 

Gallagher in a biopic 

about the band, 

because he is 

better at the guitar.

Gallagher was quoted as 

saying recently that he 

“wouldn’t be averse” to 

making a film about Oasis, 

and suggested casting 

Daniel as himself.

But the Bond actor has since 

called the guitarist “full of s***” 

and described the potential role 

as “ridiculous” at a recent 

screening of his new film Defiance.

Daniel told The Sun: 

“I can play the guitar better 

than Noel can so I don’t know 

how that is really going to work.”

As previously reported by Orange, 

Noel addressed Daniel during a gig

in London at the end of last year, 

suggesting that the potential role 

could be in exchange for a shot 

at the theme to the next Bond film.

Noel said: 

“I might see if I can blag it so that 

he can get me the next James Bond

theme tune instead of f***ing dopey

Americans doing it all the time.”
