SIX scumbags
who murdered an
innocent army cadet
for kicks were jailed
for life with minimum
of 15-18 years today,
Athony France
reports for
The U.K. Sun
July 9th.
Model pupil Shaquille Smith, 14,
was knifed yards from his home
by the lawless teen mob on
BMX bikes.
The “wild dogs” chanced upon
the lad in a park after prowling
the streets looking for
a random victim.
During the trial,
Shaquille’s mum Sandra Maitland, 44,
was forced to watch as his killers
strutted into the dock, sticking two
fingers up at the justice system.
They would make crude gestures
towards the public gallery with
their fingers as if they were firing
a gun or slitting throats
with a knife.
After the verdicts last month,
jurors wept as Sandra’s moving
victim impact statement was read.
But the gang members chatted,
yawned, and fidgeted throughout —
and eventually one walked out of
the dock in defiance.
Shaquille was the 25th —
and youngest —
out of 28 teens killed in
London last year.
The football-mad youngster was
an avid Manchester United fan.
Superstar players including
Christiano Ronaldo and Wayne
Rooney were so moved by his
death they sent a signed shirt for
him to be buried in.
Godiowe ‘Savaloy’ Dufeal, 20,
George ‘Goodz’ Amponsah, 19,
his brother Freddie ‘Chips’
Amponsah, 17,
Amisi ‘Hidz’ Khama, 18,
Kadean ‘Littlz’ Dias and
Leon ‘Kids’ Atwell, both 17,
were found guilty of murder
last month.
They will all serve a total
of 96 years behind bars.
__
They were brought into court
separately for sentencing after
the prison service raised concerns
about possible violence.
Godiowe Dufeal had been released
from prison just a week before the
murder after serving a four year
sentence for possessing a firearm.
Both Dufeal and George Amponsah
will serve a minimum of 18 years
behind bars before being
considered for parole.
Leon Atwell, Amisi Khama,
Freddie Amponsah and Kadean Dias
were told they would each serve
a minimum of 15 years before
being considered for parole.
Khama was a semi-pro footballer
for Conference team Bishops
Stortford FC.
Shaquille was stabbed to death
by a ten-strong hate-filled mob who
had been roving around Hackney,
East London, on bikes last August
looking for trouble.
The lad was chatting to two friends
in a park opposite his home when
they were spotted by the London
Fields Boys.
They approached the trio and
one knifed popular Shaquille
in the stomach.
A 16-year-old girl with him was
slashed across the face and
neck as she tried
to fight them off.
Their pal Tyrell Goather, 18,
who had been walking his dog,
ran off.
The Old Bailey heard Shaquille’s
mum had been due to call him
inside to do the washing up
shortly before he was attacked.
But when she looked out of a
window and he smiled back,
she believed he was safe.
Shaquille was rushed to
hospital and at first it appeared
he would survive.
But his main artery had been
severed and after three heart
attacks in an operating theatre
he passed away.
At the time of his death,
Shaquille was preparing to return
to Sir John Cass’s Foundation
School after the summer holiday
to begin his GCSEs.
He had also been accepted
into the army cadets.
Although, Shaquille and his killers
were raised within a few miles of
each other in East London,
they had nothing in common.
Most of the London Fields crew
came from broken homes,
all had previous convictions and
had fallen in with bad company.
Detective Chief Inspector
Carl Mehta,
who led the murder probe, said:
“They were acting like
wild dogs that day,
hunting the area for a victim.
“Shaquille was in a place
where he should have felt safe.
He was entirely blameless.”

Most of these boys are Africans and they have brought the values and culture of the 3rd world into the heart of what was once the safest and most civilised city in Europe.
